TV vet Dr Katrina Warren to host 2011 Manly ‘Dogs Day Out’.

Dogs Day Out is a family  fun day out for all to help promote responsible pet ownership
Dr Katrina is known to many Australians from her appearances on the popular Channel Seven family show ‘Harry’s Practice’ and is host of the New York based Animal Planet satellite and cable television show ‘Housecat Housecall’.

The Wonderdogs (Flynn, Willow, Jordie and Jinx), a team of highly trained chocolate Border Collies who entertain and perform tricks, have delighted television audiences on Talk To The Animals, The Today Show, World Dog Games and Pet Expos and have been featured in OK magazine.

The 2011 Manly Council ‘Dogs Day Out’ event will include popular ring and track events this year and an ‘Ask the Expert’ tent, providing the opportunity to meet with Dr Katrina and other veterinary experts. 
Learn about dog behaviour and training, children’s safety around dogs and much more from over 16 advice and information service providers.

Wonderdogs and demonstrations of obedience and agility by the Manly & District Kennel & Dog Training Club

Fancy dress and look-alike competitions, and due to popular demand, this year will see the return of the Jack Russell Racing track event.”

There will be free poo bags and holders distributed and all dogs must be on leads at all times.
