Dee Why Beach will again be bustling with activity this March when Warringah Council delivers its annual free live music series – Music in March.
Sunday 11 March 2012, 12 – 4pm
Soul – Celebrating International Women’s Day
Includes: Zoe Elliot, the seven-piece First Ladies of Soul, and a cultural performance by Te Raranga Whanui.
A range of talented female artists in celebration of International Women’s Day.
Sunday 18 March 2012, 12 – 4pm
Jazz – Launch NSW Seniors Week
Includes: Buckingham Quartet/Quintet, Jazz Lab and the Charlotte Jane Trio.
An opportunity to dust off your dancing shoes!
Sunday 25 March 2012, 10am – 4pm
Kids Rock – Celebrating Kids
Includes: Drum Beats, Chrissy’s Island Family, and performances from Plié, Groove ‘n’ Shuffle School of Performing Arts and local Tibetans.
Lifestyle markets will also be located along The Strand from 10am, and free kids activities will be provided including free face painting.
Don’t miss Drum Beats at 11am where the kids are provided with drums to beat and make some noise.
