Lulu Serious
In her latest collection of work, Lulu creates a parallel dimension where pop culture fuses with religious imagery & fairytale motifs. Female icons, from the Madonna to Barbie, appear throughout the paintings somewhat forlornly trapped in their storybook scenarios whilst struggling to find their humanity.
