Aperitif whets our appetite for more
Aperitif Restaurant’s classical midnight blue and black entrance arches frame the stunning Spanish style red interior creating an immediate WOW factor the minute we stepped inside.
Miguel Maestre and Manu Feildel are not just great owner chefs they are also great hosts, serving up great lashings of bonhomie to their guests at the official opening party for Aperitif.
Flamenco guitarist David Holberton and Marina Tamayo’s music with matching Spanish wines had guests enjoying the night from the outset. Channel 7’s Mel Symonds and Rob Palmer joined in the fun with guests, many of whom were personal friends and family of the owners.
In the charming alfresco courtyard we chatted at length with the delightful Gabrielle (Gabe) and Matt Moss about their new venture ‘Table for Ten’ that has come about after their stint on T.V.’s My Kitchen Rules.
Miguel and Manu are passionate about their food and their restaurant and it certainly shows. The Spanish Tapas treats served this night would definitely encourage us back.
