A crowd of 500 converge for Art on the Northern Beaches of Sydney
Suddenly it seems Sydney’s Norther Beaches is fast becoming the new hub for art – and it seems that the industrial area of Brookvale is leading the force.
A staggering 500 odd art lovers of all ages flocked to Artfocus’ art exhibition ‘Local Produce’ at 1 Powells Road, Brookvale and the interest and excitement was palpable. The opening was held on a Saturday night when there are so many other options for entertainment and it was terrific to see so many young people with an obvious thirst for all things artistic.
This exhibition of emerging artists is eclectic and interesting and a great showcase for local artists from the Northern Beaches – pop into Artfocus and take a look. Artfocus website
Also coming up on Friday 23 October at The National Grid Gallery, 24 Chard Road in Brookvale is ‘Kill Your Idols’ by renowned artist Ben Brown – this one is going to be huge too!!. National Grid Website
