Audi A1 can even float on water
Audi A1, the slick new city car from Audi, floated on Sydney Harbour this week atop The Island, a sea going bar constructed on a barge. As the Oprah crowds jostled at Sydney’s Circular Quay MiSociety lazed back on huge cushions to watch the sun set on our magical harbour – bliss.
Water taxis bobbed back and forth all evening ferrying guests to and fro from Double Bay out to this novel floating fun spot to relax, chat and generally be grateful to be away from the ‘O’ madness. On board was designer, Dion Lee who has partnered with Audi A1, along with many interesting people to meet.
Many of the guests were seriously considering the purchase of the Audi A1 and nothing like a party on the harbour to help grease the wheels to part with the $29,900 plus for the zippy looking vehicle.
