Audi’s new global beacon lights up Sydney
Audi’s new ‘Lighthouse’ building is now one of Sydney’s landmark buildings and it’s official opening party was in keeping with it’s landmark status.
Sandra Sully shivered in the cold to introduce this massive innovative building to the Australian landscape that also marks the centenary for Audi wordwide.
Fireworks exploded from the building’s roof preceding the ‘lighting’ of Audi’s new Australian Headquarters. Eager guests then streamed by the hundreds into the amazing ’Lighthouse’. Rare vintage Audis were shipped in from around the country for display alongside Audi’s current models under the internal light show.
This certainly was a ‘big’ night as magnums of Laurent-Perrier flowed to wash down hand sized oysters inside this gargantuan building that an estimated 45 million vehicles will pass by annually along South Dowling Street Zetland. Audi Australia’s $50 million ‘Lighthouse’ is set to outshine any of it’s rivals.
