Polo De’Marco Magazine Launch at Bang & Olufsen Sydney with Art Equity and The Balvenie photos and story; MiSociety 16 August 2012
Bang & Olufsen, Art Equity, The Balvenie Scotch Whisky and Polo De’Marco magazine mix up a luxury lifestyle cocktail
Bang & Olufsen, Art Equity and The Balvenie Scotch Whisky were the magic cocktail components for an evening that marked the launch of a new online luxury lifestyle magazine, Polo De’Marco.
Mike Aranganan, founder and creator of Polo De’Marco, theatrically arrived at the function by way of a gleaming Aston Martin that almost became a ‘photo booth’ later on for social media pictorial bragging. Polo De’Marco magazine will be published quarterly and feature bespoke stories and photography covering tantalising topics from around the world.
Art Equity gallery especially curated for the event several of their highly collectable art works (including a photographic print of musician Jack White by Soren Solkaer Starbird) to adorn the Bang & Olufsen showroom and ‘Home Theatre’. This amazing ‘Home Theatre’ is a state-of-the-art AV experience space where absolutely everything within is operational by the touch of a button – wow!
The Balvenie bar was a magnet for Scotch Whisky lovers as they savoured the 12 year old, 15 year old and 21 year old single malt whiskies that are amazingly, still traditionally hand crafted in Scotland using the five rare crafts of whisky making…
Casey Burgess, minus her HI5 pigtails and looking gorgeous, joined the party along with her partner, artist Paul Dunstan, Marcel Svatos from the Swiss Chamber of Commerce and founder of ‘Beautiful Minds’ and international make-up artist Marina Passalaris. . Actor and model Lorinska Anderson, Art Equity’s Sophie Hobbs and Raj Nanda also mingled amongst the savvy crowd sipping The Balvenie, De Bortoli Wines and supping on fresh hors d’oeuvres.
Bang & Olufsen make audio equipment that could almost sound blast you to Mars but thoughtfully they programmed the music here at a level that permitted everyone the opportunity for ‘connectability’ and socialising. – well done.
