Festival Bertoni heralded the official launch party of Bertoni Cafe CBD Sydney
Bertoni Cafes are now ringing Sydney stretching from Balmoral Beach to Darling Street in Balmain to Darling Quarter with the latest addition in Sydney’s CBD – Bertoni Ristorante and Bar on the corner of Phillip and Bent Streets.
Bertoni Ristorante and Bar’s official launch party was dubbed ‘The Festival of Bertoni’ with tables groaning under the weight of authentic Italian meats, cheeses, pasta and their famous Ciambelle (Italian doughnuts).
Good ol’ fashioned Italian family hospitality reigned on the night with owners Albert and Tony Iacono personally greeting every guest on arrival. Live demonstrations of speciality cheese making enthralled guests while the Ciambella bar was in hot demand.
Sicilian brothers Anthony and Albert Iacono jettisoned the corporate world in 2004 after a trip to Italy inspired them to create in Sydney “A place where people would come and have a complete Italian experience, as if they were in Italy. Where everything was simple, the range was limited but the quality was exceptional.”
Drop in and say ‘hi’ to Tony and Albert only if you want some real Italian speciality fare and to be warmly received by them and their dedicated staff.
