A GOOD alcohol and sporting story for a change.
Stepping into the Oceans Bar from a snap frozen ocean frontage at Coogee ‘MiSociety’ gratefully thawed in front of the flickering flames of a cosy fireplace in this stylish and welcoming bar and lounge venue.
The debut uncorking of Brothers Parade Shiraz 2007 was indeed a very warming occasion all round. Not only was the wine a good drop but the story behind this wine is a good yarn. Seems at last there’s a positive sports story.
Brothers Parade founder, and Sydney Swans first teamer Jared Crouch, together with his wife Rebecca, conveyed to guests not only a passion for their product but also a passion for mateship. The story began with two boys growing up in an Adelaide suburb. The two boys Jared Crouch and now New York based, Trent Fraser, formed a firm friendship as kids that endures today through their partnership in ‘Brothers’.
This convivial party made up of friends, locals and wine lovers, basked in the glow of the Ocean Bar’s excellent foods, the delicious wines and warm fire long after the ‘official’ end time of the event. A seriously feel good party with some great company.Share
