T20 Big Bash Cricket looks finger lickin’ good for the Teams and Captains
Cricket Australia is seeking to further popularise the short version of the traditional game of cricket with ever more colourful outfits and American style nicknames for the eight competing teams in the KFC Twenty20 Big Bash League. The T20 Big Bash bowls the first ball on 16 December 2011 with a match between Brad Haddin’s Sydney Sixers and James Hopes’ Brisbane Heat at the SCG. (see the T20 Teams and their Captains below)

Emirates ‘Spain’ defies the rain at Royal Randwick
The Emirates Marquee at Royal Randwick is always the epicentre for the trackside race day action at the Sydney Carnival and the Emirates Doncaster Mile Day for 2011 was no exception.
Emirates Airlines theme their marquees at Royal Randwick based on one of their global destinations, choosing fiery Flamenco dancers and spicy paella for punters to experience some of the flavours of Spain for 2011.
Celebrity ‘My Fair Ladies’ somehow managed to hold together (and down) their designer wear and their race day millinery creations despite the ‘rain in Spain’ falling mainly on Randwick Race Course this day.
