Independent Music Centre celebrates 2012 program in Sydney’s redressed grand old Dame of a theatre
The Independent Theatre, now all newly re-sparkled, played host to the launch of The Australian Elizabethan Theatre Trust (AETT) 2012 Independent Music Centre season.

Not quite the Golden Globes but still a room full of talent
The Golden Globe Awards 2012 (to honour the best in film) were being beamed around the world from the Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel this night with hundreds of cameras flashing and the red carpet surely sizzling underfoot of coutured celebrities and manicured movie makers. Meanwhile, at Sydney’s Paddington RSL Club, another awards ceremony was taking place – the Sydney Theatre Awards for 2011 – honouring the cream of Sydney’s thespian artists.
