Sydney becomes a lot more Contemporary in 24 hours
Sydney’s Museum of Contemporary Art treated itself to a Day of celebrations for the opening of its new $53 million extension to the building.

The official opening ceremony of the redeveloped Museum of Contemporary Art at midday featured speeches from the Federal Arts Minister Simon Crean and the NSW Premier Barry O’Farrell.  Both Ministers are showing a willingness to take the support of the Arts seriously and are seriously supporting the Arts.  Continue Reading »

NSW Premier Barry O’Farrell and Federal Arts Minister Simon Crean today officially opened the $53 million redevelopment of the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia in Sydney.

The State and Federal Governments provided equal contributions of $13 million to the project which increases gallery space by 50 per cent and provides room for the creation of a new National Centre for Creative Learning. Continue Reading »

 Janus Group might be relying for their fortune on a more commercial deity, however –  ‘location, location, location’.  Janus has a prime position with a coffee shop situated on the outside forecourt and a bistro café on the ground floor of the atrium in a new building of landmark design known as I Bligh Street Sydney.
