Cervo Restaurant and Bar Opening Party Northbridge photos, images, story; MiSociety 11 December 2012
Cervo serves up a Italian feast of a party north of the Bridge.
Cervo Restaurant and Bar at Northbridge has a warm timber interior that must be the reason invited guests were so quickly at ease with the opening night party taking on a persona that felt more like a family and friends get-together than an official opening. Northside guests and those who ventured over ‘the Bridge’ mixed and mingled at what turned out to be a very convivial affair.
Prosecco, wine and boutique beers flowed as plates laden with, Hawkesbury River calamari, several varieties of pizza, mushroom and mozzarella arancini and more were eagerly snapped up by celebrating guests.
Cervo is Italian for deer and there really is one on the wall here complete with huge antlers – .needless to add its not real but he is very convincing.
Cervo’s timber clad interior was designed by architect Ben Mitchell who has created a space that doesn’t overpower but projects as easy on the eye and welcoming across the two floors.
Tamim Baqaie and Mostafa Baluch, owners of this new Northside restaurant. have been involved in the dining industry since they were eight years old. Their combined experience in delivering fine Italian Cuisine and ensuring customer satisfaction will be a long awaited addition to Northbridge and the northern suburbs of Sydney.
Cervo Restaurant and Bar is at 119 Sailors Bay Road Northbridge. 02 99582644
