Celebrate Christmas at Dee Why Beach with Christmas markets, Christmas concert, a sustainable life boat Christmas tree and Santa Claus.

Do your Christmas shopping at the day/night Christmas markets, which will run from 9am to 9pm (weather permitting).
See performances by children’s entertainer and much-loved Play School presenter Jay Laga’aia and a Musical Adventure Christmas Show by Go Seek!. The Combined Churches of Dee Why will be also presenting Christmas carols, music and songs.
3pm – Performances by the Combined Churches of Dee Why
5pm - A Jingle Jangle Journey! – Musical Adventure Christmas Show by Go Seek
5:45pm - Mayoral address and Santa on a jetski
6pm - Christmas at Jay’s Place! – Christmas Performance by Jay Laga’aia and band
6:50pm - Lighting of the sustainable Christmas tree

Sustainable Life Boat Christmas Tree
Everyone is welcome to take part in building and making decorations for building the sustainable Christmas tree. It will be made from 51 life boat shaped panels and will reach up to 5 metres. The shapes will be cut out of recycled laminated foam-core – whose former lives were advertising signs!
Santa will be the special guest and you can have your photo taken with him at the beach from 1pm!
