These July school holidays while the 2011 Circus Oz production Steampowered is wowing the crowds under the Big Top at Birrarung Marr, Melbourne, Circus Oz starts the next round of school holiday Kids Classes at their Port Melbourne HQ this weekend.

With classes designed for absolute beginners, the KIDS and TEENS Come ‘n’ Try sessions are perfect for the budding young acrobat or trapeze artist!

Try a range of circus skills including tight wire, static trapeze, juggling and hula hooping.

KIDS Come ‘n’ Try
7 – 12 year olds
Saturday 2nd July or 16th July | 10.00am – 12.00pm
Cost $35

TEENS Come ‘n’ Try
Saturday 2nd or 16th July – 1.00pm – 4.00pm

Ever wanted to try the flying trapeze? Circus Oz is giving teens the chance these holidays, as well as the opportunity to try juggling, acrobatics, spinning web and more. There is a minimum height requirement of 150cm for Flying Trapeze (sorry nothing personal, this is just a physics thing).

Circus Oz runs a variety of classes designed for both beginners and advanced participants across the year. Circus classes are a fun way to get fit and acquire some unusual circus skills.  A timetable for our kids, teenage and adults programs is available for download on the right side of this page.

Other classes include:

Circus Skills
Flexibility & Contortion
Flying Trapeze
Chinese Pole
Tumbling & Acrobatics
Aerial Conditioning
