Learn how to reduce household waste and improve your garden by composting or worm farming.

  • Saturday 29 October 2011 10am-12pm – Waverley Community Garden
  • Wednesday 9 November 10am-12pm – Paddington Community Garden

Waverley Community Garden
Residents (who live in Waverley, Randwick and Woollahra Council areas) who attend are eligible for a free worm farm or compost bin!

Paddington Community Garden
This workshop will give you the skills and confidence to start your own compost and/or worm farm at home to create nutrient rich compost for your garden and pot plants.
You will learn how to set up and operate a compost bin/worm farm, how to troubleshoot problems and the different applications for compost. Best of all, you will learn how you can receive a free compost bin or worm farm to start you composting immediately!
Bookings are essential as places are very limited.
