Crossing Boundaries, a unique contemporary art exhibition celebrating the growing connections between Asian and Australian art worlds.

  • Wednesday 22 January – Sunday 9 February 2014

Sculpture, installation, ceramics and performance – plus an extensive children’s program, artist forums and talks – Crossing Boundaries will explore the blurred geographical boundaries and unique cultural influences of over 20 celebrated Asian-Australian artists.

Lord Mayor Clover Moore said the Lunar New Year celebrations were a great opportunity to explore the rich arts and culture scene that exists between Australia and Asia.

“Crossing Boundaries invites everyone to delve into the world of some of Australia and Asia’s most prominent and emerging artists,” the Lord Mayor said.

Artists featured in the CNY14 Crossing Boundaries exhibition include:
