Dinosaurs at Scienceworks Melbourne

June 10th, 2011

Scienceworks – where you discover a world of dinosaurs – explore ‘how we know what we know’ about those most famous of prehistoric creatures – dinosaurs!

  • Wednesday 1 June – 17 July 2011

MiSociety recently visited Scienceworks and had a great time (big kids be sure to have a play and test your skills in the kids room)

This new exhibition, developed by Scienceworks, you can find out how palaeontologists use fossil evidence to learn about how dinosaurs lived, from what they ate and how fast they ran, to what colour they may have been and even how they cared for their young.

Kids (large or small) can become a junior Palaeontologist and discover the forensic method scientists use to learn about prehistoric life in a setting inhabited by Scienceworks’ own animatronic dinosaurs!

Cost: Adults $18, Concessions $6 & Children $5 (includes entry to Scienceworks)
Pre-bookings highly recommended, especially during the Winter School Holiday period (2 – 17 July)
