Drambuie Dazzles in The Den
Drambuie 15 and The Royal Legacy of 1745 was launched onto the Australian market at The Den in the Ivy Hotel encapsulating a mood of sophisticated ambience with the honey hued and infused tipple served neat and in a range of cocktails.
Drambuie’s cocktail menu included the classic ‘Rusty Nail’ (once a favourite of the ‘Rat Pack’) along with ‘The Libertine’ (our favourite) and the ‘Mile Failte’, a spicy little number to warm the cockles. The whole range of cocktails were delicious and some of the best we have had around town but the real stars were the Drambuie 15 and The Royal Legacy of 1745 served a la naturale.
The Drambuie Jacobite Collection, with a total production of only 150 bottles, was unveiled here for the first time in Australia also, but, before you dash to the bottle o for one you’d best top up the plastic to the tune of a RRP in excess of $5000.
Great to see Drambuie raising it’s profile again and from our experience this night, creating some classy cocktails for those who prefer a drink with real substance.
