Squabbalogic in association with Hayes Theatre Co present The Drowsy Chaperone, the Tony Award Winning exuberant musical within a comedy.

The Drowsy Chaperone boldly addresses a great unspoken desire in all of our hearts: to be entertained. If you’ve ever sat in a dark theatre and thought, “Dear Lord in heaven, please let it be good,” this is the show for you!

In a shabby New York apartment, a die-hard musical-theatre fan plays his favourite Broadway cast album on his turntable with the musical literally bursting to life in his living room and telling the rambunctious tale of a brazen Broadway starlet trying to find, and keep, her true love. The Drowsy Chaperone will be directed by Jay James-Moody (Carrie The Musical) and will boast an extraordinary cast of Sydney’s finest musical theatre talent.
