If Diamonds are a girls best friend - Fairfax & Roberts  are the ‘besties’ of all
Bespoke jewelers since 1858 Fairfax & Roberts are synonymous with quality high end unique jewellery and the launch of their new ‘Diamond Room’ in their Castlereagh Street, Sydney store further cemented this status.

This soiree was not about ‘celebs’ it was an invitation for Fairfax & Roberts’ customers to join in the celebration of the creation of this new space and workshop that is totally devoted to, you guessed it –  diamonds.  And these are not just any old diamonds, the stones here are amongst the very best in the world.  The diamonds were the ‘stars’ that shone at this sparking party.

OMG this was an experience.  Under a giant cascading blossom tree there was more eye popping diamond jewellery on display than most of us are ever likely to see in one place.   Opera singer Amelia Farrugia belted out her version of ‘Diamonds are a girls best friend’ accompanied on piano by John Foreman as the Moet flowed.  New arrival  from Paris, Anthony Kay, won the ‘lucky door prize’ of a pair of Fairfax & Roberts diamond earings.

One piece that caught our eye (and how could it not) was a men’s diamond watch that  Liberace might own if he was still amongst us – absolutely extraordinary and we were told it was worth a cool $1.3 mill.    A stylish do by stylish people.
