Moon (M)
It is the near future. Astronaut Sam Bell (Sam Rockwell) is living on the far side of the moon, completing a three-year contract with Lunar Industries harvest the moon’s surface for helium-3 energy for back home.
The lone occupant of the mining base, Sam is occasionally buoyed by the sporadic transmissions from his wife and young daughter, and combats monotony and isolation by tending to plants, continuing his predecessor’s woodcraft project, and interacting with the station’s robotic computer, Gerty (Kevin Spacey).
