The Chauvel is proud to present, direct from London ’s South Bank, the National Theatre’s spectacular new family production NATION – an exhilarating adventure story of survival and self-discovery based on the book by bestselling novelist Terry Pratchett (Discworld).
Part Lord of the Flies, part Treasure Island, NATION is set in a parallel version of 1860, where two teenagers are brought together by natural disaster and must work together to help refugees, fight invaders and restart society; all under the watchful eye of a foul-mouthed parrot.
Adapted by Mark Ravenhill and directed by Melly Still, NATION combines live music, thrilling dance and spectacular puppets to bring to life the spectacular and surprising world of Terry Pratchett’s Nation on the National Theatre stage.
