The North Shore buzzed last night with anticipation as guests came together over a glass of wine to celebrate the much awaited opening of Firefly, Neutral Bay.
Proving itself worthy of it’s position in the leafy North Shore, Firefly turned on the charm, and the “bitter and twisted” cocktails (a champagne cocktail charged with Campari, lychees and blood orange), we had the boys covered too with a selection of Crackenback (Snowy Mountains) beers.
Guests christened the new space with laugher, chatter and a few broken glasses. The likes of Cassandra Pittman (DJ), Shane Pittman (Pro Surfer), Aaron O’Brien (Adam No Eve designer, Margie Milich (Sabatini designer) and even writer and record Producer from L.A, Shaun Ray in town working with Jessica Mauboy turned out to be amongst the first to experience what Firefly has to offer.
The vibe was set by DJ, Huw Ellis, as guests were delighted, and amazed, by a fascinating Magician, Ophir, who had more than just a couple of tricks up his sleeve. Fans of glam waterfront venue Firefly, Walsh Bay know that the funky tapas bar/restaurant is famous for its generous portions and timeless classic dishes. And now, North Shore locals can enjoy more of the same at Daniel Sofo’s sister venue, Firefly Neutral Bay.
