Paparazzi Pack Pooch Parade
The Four Legged Friends art exhibition at the Butler Goode gallery unleashed cavorting canines who congregated for an exclusive dogwalk fashion and beauty pageant that brought out the creative best of their owners.
Apart from the odd clash of canine egos the assembled models were socially adept with little evidence of a dog eat dog attitude on the dogwalk – so refreshing! Eager to strut their four legged stuff down the red carpet the pooches were unfazed by the hoard of paparazzi converged on the scene.
Dogue, The House of Canine Couture – fashion designers to canine celebrities (and the wannabees) – supplied the latest of ‘must have’ doggie fashion and accessories. The Butler Goode Gallery thoughtfully housed backstage changing rooms for the prima dogas who all lapped up the attention enthusiastically.
Fine wines and canapes for the human co-stars were supplemented by ‘Jollie Gourmet Dog Treats’ for the hairy ones, inluding ‘dog only’ cupcakes which looked remarkably like the ones provided for us humans. So much fun! The Four Legged Friends exhibition runs till 23 January 2011 at the Butler Goode Gallery.
