Free family fun day to celebrate World Parks Day 2010

 World Parks Day at Centennial Parklands – free entertainment, pony rides, face painting, Taronga Zoomobile

  • Saturday 18 September 2010  from 10 am – 2 pm
  • Centennial Park Sydney – Free

 On Saturday 18 September, all Sydneysiders are invited to Centennial Parklands to experience and enjoy this magnificent urban open space with a range of free fun family activities and exhibitions.

Centennial Park (off Parkes Drive, opposite Centennial Parklands Dining)

The 3rd international World Parks Day highlights the importance and the role of parks and public open space in the everyday lives of the community.

 Colourful flags lead to a range of free entertainment, which include pony rides, face painting, a Taronga Zoomobile, ranger programs, dog training demonstrations, carp fishing, bug hunting, art and craft.
