Freedom Furniture Limited Edition Sets the Trend in Homewares and Furniture for 2011 / 2012
Freedom Furniture showcased their Spring / Summer 2011 / 2012 collection at Sydney’s Carriageworks drawing a good crowd of predominately media on a cold and wet night, the likes of which would normally deter many.
Freedom’s Limited Edition pieces were the centre of attraction here with the designs having been inspired by objects and scenes observed by Candice Deale, Freedom’s Head of Homewares and Andrew Moricz, Freedom’ Head of Furniture, on their visual expedition through the signature hotels of Paris, New York and Hong Kong
Elvis Presley and James Darrin played on a big screen as the Gelato stand did a thriving business to top off the delicious trayed offerings served up by Stedmans with no less than Veuve Clicquot to wash it all down with.
The retro inspired Limited Edition pieces from Freedom Furniture will only have a production run of 200 or so and judged on the previous year’s Limited Editions’ popularity (they sold out within a couple of weeks) you had better be quick to grab one of the 2011 / 2012 star items.
