The Genies are back in town.
The launch of the Jeans for Genes 2009 Campaign got off to a flying start under the majestic Domes at the Arthouse hotel in Sydney last night.
Host Zoe Ventoura announced that ‘Jeans for Genes’ had raised the stunning total of 46 million dollars since 1994 and judging by the enthusiasm of all the guests the charity is set to add to that total substantially this year.
With the walls adorned by donated celebrity signed jeans turned into amazing artwork, country music star Adam Brand entertained and the crowd puzzled over whom to chose for the ‘Jeans for genes People’s Choice Award’.
The jeans artworks will be exhibited at the Art House until 29 July, the night before they are auctioned at the Denim Charity Dinner in the Oaks Marquee at the AJC, Randwick.
