Jeans for Genes’ art on jeans for cancer research
Jeans for Genes aims to raise much needed funds for cancer research with one primary money raiser being the annual exhibition and sale of artworks on jeans created by some of Australia’s best artists.
The Wentworth Galleries in Sydney was the venue for the 2010 exhibition with the opening night again well attended. Alister Simpson is one of Australia’s foremost equine artists and his portrait of horse trainer Bar Cummins won my vote for best painting. The art works will be sold at the Jeans for Genes annual dinner later this month.
