The ever effervescent Kathy Lette bubbled around the function area of the tranquil Andrew ‘Boy’ Charlton Pool last week for the Sydney launch her new book.
It was a star blazoned room bursting with Kathy’s friends and family including Barry Humphries, George Miller and family, Kerri-Anne and John Kennerley, Justice Michael Kirby and Tom Keneally to name a few.
Decked out in his board shorts Richard E Grant dashed in to launch ‘To Love, Honour and Betray’ (Till Divorce Us Do Part) . The book’s tale is pure escapism and fun that takes you from pills and gloom across Cronulla Surf Club through ‘Puberty Blues’ over a ‘Foetal Attraction’ to the re-awakening of an adult adolescent.

And Bill Ranken says
Cathy Lette, who first hit the big time with her raunchy novel ‘ Puberty Blues’ and has written several big sellers since, launched her new novel ‘ To love, Honour & Betray’ at the Boy Charlton Pool in the Domain.
The guests were an A-List plus with so many famous writers directors and actors and top of the tree legal eagles amongst the crowd.
I won’ t drop names in this column but the pictures will tell the story. In a 1 to 10 rating I give the launch a 10, a rarity for me who is very hard to impress. – Bill RankenShare
