The Local Writers’ Word Festival presents an exciting line up of talks and workshops by special guest speakers in what promises to be the best festival yet.

If you’re interested in literature and the world of publishing, come along to hear talks by bestselling international authors, industry professionals and poets or attend a workshop on how to get published.
Learn about the following interesting topics and many more:

  • How do you self-promote your work in the internet age?
  • What is the state of poetry today?
  • How do you go from struggling self-published author to international bestseller?

This informative and fun community event aims to inspire and nurture emerging writers, providing access to some of the industry’s brightest minds.
Cost $25 general festival entry; $20 Woollahra Library Friends festival entry.
