Sangrias to the rescue on a steamy Sydney night
Lotforty Bar is another ‘secret Sydney’ bar as it’s tucked away at number 40 Kings Lane in Darlinghurst. Not the easiest of places to find but worth the search. The launch of the Lotforty ‘Sangria Club’ attracted a huge crowd of guests and media on another steamer of a night in Sydney.
Lotforty’s sangria’s at this party were being consumed at an enormous rate and MiSociety, along with everyone else, judged them to be far superior to the usual offerings around town of this Spanish and Portugese original. The delicious tapas treats on offer were also very quickly snapped up. Lotforty has been receiving some very good creds on their menu and it was easy to see why.
To add to the fun, casual feel of the party pinatas were hung for their beating and proved to be a big ‘hit’ as live Spanish guitar music drifted through the courtyard.
The ‘Sangria Club’ will be happening at Lotfory every Wednesday and Thursday night, 5 – 11pm where $30 will buy you two plates and a jug of red or white sangria - excellent deal.
