Manly Art Gallery & Museum to host a ground-breaking new dance installation work, titled ‘On View’, by award-winning choreographer and dance-film producer/director Sue Healey

‘On View’:  ground breaking ‘moving portraiture’ and live performance at Manly Art Gallery & Museum

 Manly Art Gallery & Museum will be also the venue for four live performances by acclaimed dancers Shona Erskine and Raghav Handa in support of the installation work.

‘On View’ installation exhibition and first live performance will be launched at 3.00pm on Sunday 8 December 2013, with additional live performances at 3.00pm on Sundays 19 January 2013, 2 February and 9 February 2014.

Sue Healey was recently awarded the prize for Outstanding Achievement in Dance on Film or New Media in the 2013 Australian Dance Awards.

‘On View’ is a performance installation presenting video ‘moving portraits’ of five extraordinary performers – Shona Erskine, Raghav Handa, Benjamin Hancock, Martin del Amo and Nalina Wait, all filmed under Healey’s direction by the award winning Cinematographer Judd Overton.
