Manly Arts Festival is the most exciting, fun-filled event on Sydney’s Northern Beaches cultural calendar. 
The 20th annual Manly Arts Festival gets under way from 3, with scores of attractions including indoor and outdoor exhibitions, concerts and dance, films and creative workshops.

Manly Arts Festival is the centrepiece to Manly Council’s exciting cultural program ‘Manly VIBE’ – a celebration of all things ‘Manly’!

Manly Arts Festival 2013 offers dozens of bright, family-friendly cultural events, the 2013 Manly Arts Festival will be officially launched at the Manly Art Gallery & Museum by New York based founder of Art in Odd Places’, artist, curator, activist, film-producer Ed Woodham, on Friday 20 September, 6 – 8pm, Manly Art Gallery & Museum, West Esplanade, Manly.

Artists, event organisers, participants and friends are invited to join in the Festival launch, complete with live music by The Sly Dogs, featuring Matt Trapnell.

Also opening on the evening are Manly Art Gallery & Museum’s two festival highlight exhibitions, the Points in Time’ touring survey exhibition of Northern Beaches based artist Chris Langlois; and the fascinating ‘Gamaragal: Aboriginal people of Manly and Northern Sydney’ exhibition. Both exhibitions will be opened by Nick Mitzevich, Director, Art Gallery of South Australia
