Beach wedding venue was a triple decker winner
Everybody loves a wedding but it’s rare to receive an invitation to attend not only a ‘wedding’ but a ‘hen’s night’ and an ‘engagement party’ all on the one evening at the same venue.
Manly Wine and The Wine Suites were celebrating everything bridal so there we were amongst the ‘wedding guests’, the token ‘groom’, the ‘bouquet of brides’ and the ‘celebration of celebrants’ (writer’s artistic license on the collective nouns).
Our ‘wedding’ party kicked off at Manly Wine’s street level setting opposite Manly Beach, with our ‘Hen’s’ experience that included a decadent, mile high, triple level tea stand laden with goodies.
With the fragrance wafting from our ‘Giggly Rose Cocktails’ the ‘wedding party’ proceeded upstairs to the ‘Terrace Suites’ to sample an engagement style party at the indoor/outdoor garden terrace with our M.C., the bubbly Holly Brisley.
The ‘Wedding Breakfast’ saw us seated inside the Manly Wine Beachside Suite with it’s lovely fresh and open feel, wrap round balcony and vista of Manly Beach. Not a hint of the old style cheesey wedding trimmings at this venue that would be perfect for any function.
Henry Roth’s latest bridal collection was introduced by his dad, Joseph Weinreich and modeled by five local ‘brides’. These bridal gowns were all absolutely stunning of course with the attention to detail that Henry Roth is famous for – no loose threads here.
Getting married? There aren’t any wedding plans on the agenda amongst the MiSociety crew but if asked “would Manly Wine Suites be a consideration for a wedding (or anything other event)” our resounding answer would be “We do”.
