Merivale continues it’s march up the food chain
March into Merivale’s ‘The Art of Food’ is another promotional string in the heavily laden establishment bow of the Merivale Group with head of house Justin Hemmes on hand at the opening night to meet, greet and ensure all went according to plan.
Ash Street, the back entrance leading into the multi-levelled and mult-functionalised ’IVY Bar’, was festooned with Medieval jousting style canopies housing a line-up of food outlets. As with most things ‘Merivale’ the crowds swarmed, ate, drank and socialised to the full.
The Felix Bistro was the hub for those of us bedecked with a VIP neck tag. Inside this gorgeous French styled bistro the drinks flowed, eats were hastily snapped up and an amicable crowd had fun with a roving magician.
The March into Merivale promotion showcases a gastronomical collection of 11 Merivale Restaurants offering incredible $33 lunch and dinner offers along with 4 pubs to help wash down the fair. Further info on March into Merivale 2011
