Mardi Gras Parade through the streets of Sydney.
- 27 Feb February 7.45pm
Oxford and Flinders Streets
Darlinghurst, New South Wales
There’s no city in the world that comes out to cheer on its gay pride event quite like Sydney. On Mardi Gras night hundreds of thousands line the streets of Sydney to watch the colour, spectacle and outrageousness of the Parade.
It’s been named by Conde Nast as one of the world’s top ten street parades and the gay travel bible Spartacus has written that every gay travelling man (or indeed woman) needs to visit Sydney at least once to see the Mardi Gras. Make it 2010!
This year’s Parade has the theme Mardi Gras’ History of the World and will take you on a sexy and baudy rollercoster ride through the ages, looking at gay history and shining a pink spotlight on some of mankind’s great figures and events.Share
