Straight from a critically acclaimed season in Sydney.   Under Milk Wood heads to the Melbourne Fringe Festival!  One Woman takes on All 64 Characters in Dylan Thomas’ Under Milk Wood

“Zoe Norton Lodge and Vanessa Hughes have come up with a finely-wrought Under Milk Wood that re-illuminates the richness of Thomas’s story and re-articulates the warmth of his appraisal that there’s none so queer as folk. Norton Lodge is dauntlessly energetic, flashing between characters without missing beat and animating the mad-capped village with deft comic timing. The audience is aware from the beginning that this a play dearly loved by its actor, who inhabits the natives of Llareggub with a confidence and persuasiveness stemming from long familiarity and affection. Norton Lodge is a very physical actor, and her delivery of the performance is everywhere underpinned by her easy adoption of traits and mannerisms.”  Alex Hankinson, Dylan Thomas Society of Australia Newsletter, July 2010 Issue
