Melbourne International Jazz Festival 2012 will see a diverse cross-section of jazz royalty and the stars of a rising generation converge on Melbourne for 10 days of jazz across the city.

Melbourne International Jazz Festival is for first time jazz-goers and aficionados alike who can experience international jazz legends in Melbourne`s iconic venues, and enjoy late-night art parties, intimate club gigs, film screenings, masterclasses, daily free concerts, evening soundwalks and events for families and children.
McCoy Tyner to Hiromi, Chris Potter to Eli Degibri, Jose James to Dee Dee Bridgewater at this year’s Festival that will bring over 300 artists from America, France, Norway, Ethiopia, Japan, Germany, Argentina, Italy and Australia together for more than 100 events – including 30 free events, 11 world premieres, 13 Australian premieres, eight Festival exclusives and eight Australian/international collaborations.
