Hi MiSocietyers

Art Sydney is upon us again already – where did this year go – Santa is rearing his fluffy red head already.  We have a bundle of tickets for Art Sydney to give away.  Details further down.

Way too many ‘What’s On’ items at MiSociety to list here.  Each calendar date on the site has a swag of things to do every day and, as you all know, we provide the most comprehensive and diverse list of events you will find in any one place on the net.  Plus there’s all the VIP party pics and goss covering the social underbelly that others don’t have the inside track to.

Tickets for the best shows in town
Like a little song and dance?  Jersey Boys has now hit Sydney after a mega run in Melbourne where we caught it the first time.  The Sydney production has had many changes and is (in our opinion) even tighter and brighter – not to be missed.  MiSociety was also at the opening night for Fame and if it’s high octane dance you are into you will love it.  We are looking forward to being at the $14 million Ben Hur first night on Friday in Sydney – Ben Hur will be one of the biggest extravaganzas ever seen in Australia but be quick now for tickets.

Don’t forget you can buy tickets to all the big shows at MiSociety.

If the ‘big productions’ don’t do it for you (or your budget) then take a dip into the independent theatre scene where you can really get up close and personal with the performers.

The Memory Lane Concert
While chatting with PJ Lane at the Harley Davidson party in the Kings Cross Car Park this week he gave us the goss about his concert at the Wharf Theatre to aid Alzheimer’s Australia.  As most would know PJ’s dad, the legendary Don Lane, sadly suffered Dementia in his later years and PJ is behind the concert “for his dad”.  PJ is not only gorgeous and immensely talented he is one hell of a nice guy and this concert has a brilliant line-up of Australian talent including David Campbell, Rhonda Burchmore, Wayne Scott Kermond, Trisha Crowe, Trevor Ashley, Darren Carr and Joel Salom  Have a look

Cricket Legends Lunch – Chow down with the greats
MiSociety is again supporting the Cricket Legends Lunch this year.  This lunch has been going for 15 years and supports the Northcott Foundation for kids with disabilities.  As always there will be an elite lineup of cricket greats (past and present) at the crease.  Attending this lunch is the opportunity for cricket enthusiasts to meet and ‘grill’ their idols.  A ticket for the lunch would be an ideal gift for someone and buying a table would make for an excellent workplace bonding session.  We can tell you from experience that you will come away admiring the work that Northcott do and be in awe of some of the brave recipients of that work.

Ticket Giveaway for Art Sydney
We have a bundle of tickets to give to our readers for Art Sydney 2010.  This is Sydney’s biggest art event all under one roof.  Whether you are looking to buy art or just love to wander around, meet the artists and peruse the great diversity of art in Australia this is for you.  Info and how to WIN tickets for Art Sydney 2010

Till next time.  Enjoy Life – it’s the only one you have
