Clare Parker wins Miss Teenage Australia 2009 with Renne Mackenzie Runner Up
Miss Teenage Australia 2009 co-owners Grant Dwyer of AMG and Queenslander Gavin Dooley put together a very successful Finals night at Pink Salt Restaurant in Double Bay.
Sixteen beautiful teenagers strutted their stuff in front of three female and three male judges (one of which was yours truly). We, the judges, deliberated for four hours before coming up with the very popular winner Clare Parker. Clare, who would like to become a fashion designer, designed all the clothes she wore in the competition.
Renne Mackenzie was announced Runner Up and also voted Miss Photogenic. Renne is a delightful girl who hails from Mackay in North Queensland. The 160 quests at the pagent were primarily made up of the contestants” families and friends and they all enjoyed a first class dinner while watching the parades.
Money raised at the Finals of Miss Teenage Australia 2009 will go to Barnodos Homes – a great charity.
