The National Photographic Portrait Prize 2010 exhibition from the National Portrait Gallery features the work of 43 finalists whose photographs reflect the distinctive vision of Australia’s aspiring and professional portrait photographers and the unique nature of their subjects.
Dame Elisabeth Murdoch, Paul Capsis and Brandon Walters as well as many other unidentified and intriguing models were chosen by the photographers for this exhibition.

Visitors to the Mosman Art Gallery will have the opportunity to hear from other selected photographers in a series of illustrated Sunday talks. The photographers’ subjects range from the familiar such as actor Paul Capsis, Gap hero Don Ritchie and arts duo Brian and Gene Sherman to the more anonymous subjects of young musicians, Newcastle squatters, sunbakers and friends.Share
