Nespresso sustaining the coffee – and the beat
Oscar Jimenez (Colombian-born front man of ARIA Award nominee band, Watussi) added his talents to authentic (and excellent) South American and Indian canapés and real ‘hit the spot’ Nespresso cocktails to create an underground Fiesta in the heart of Sydney.
Sub Solo Tapas Bar, downstairs from King Street Sydney, glowed in a half light as the gals from Latin Dance Australia swivelled, swirled and sparkled across the dance floor with moves MiSociety won’t be attempting before our morning Nespresso (or likely any other time).
George Clooney, the world’s sexiest man, is the face of Nespresso’s luxury coffee machines and that, together with a user friendly system, has really projected the brand into the stratosphere. Coffee drinkers may not be aware though of Nespresso’s AAA Sustainable Quality Program launched in 2003. This program is aimed at helping to secure the livelihoods of coffee farmers and to protect the future of the highest quality coffee. The AAA Program offers support, training and technical assistance to some 40,000 coffee growers world wide.
Dhjana, Nespresso’s latest limited edition coffee, comes sealed in bronze coloured capsules and is the first blend to be sourced entirely from the Nespresso AAA Sustainable Quality Program.
If you haven’t tried a Nespresso cocktail yet – DO!
