Firework display on Dee Why Beach
- Saturday 31 December 2011 – 9pm
Warringah Council is encouraging everyone to skip the city and enjoy some local cuisine at the spectacular New Years Eve Fireworks at Dee Why.
Visitors to the event can also choose to enjoy their own picnic on the grass at Ted Jackson Reserve or on the sands of Dee Why Beach.
The Strand and Dee Why Headland carpark will be closed from 4pm for pedestrian safety and with more than 5000 people expected at the event Council is encouraging the community to walk or use public transport.
