NSW Wine Week Pops its Corks at The Winery
‘The Winery’ bar and restaurant at Surry Hills was a top choice for the launch of this, week long, celebration of NSW wines.
Being greeted by barelled grape stomping costumed boys and girls we knew we were in for some fun with this lively crowd made up of wine makers, wine lovers, wine writers and the wine cognosenti - all gathered for the ‘ringing of the bells’. At each ringing of the bell a new tasting course made the rounds with it’s companion wine. NSW wine is amongst the finest in the world and here we were spoiled with some of the best of the best.
All Sydneysiders can join in on this annual celebration of the NSW grape from 14-20 March kicking off with the huge Cellar Door day at Hyde Park, Sydney and then you can follow up with some great wine dine opportunities at the 60 participating restaurants around NSW.
