Bestie Beer Garden at a very ‘bestie’ site.
Security was very tight at the ‘Best Beergarden in the World launch at Sydney’s Opera Bar adjacent to the Sydney Opera House. I think that even the good Lord himself would have need a pass to get into the garden. However, your truly was finally ushered in to sample the new venue that will be in existance only till 24 October.
I was met at the entrance by a charming girl with a very large reptile around her shoulders. Inside was a number of statues in various poses and at the other end of the garden was a band trying hard to be heard above the din.
Sorry, but somehow I couldn’t see how the bar got it’s title ‘The Best Beer Garden in the World’ perhaps because it’s setting on Sydney Harbour is one of the best in the world.
