Tiffany & Co and their designer Paloma Picasso celebrate 30 years
Paloma Picasso is the epitome of grace and style. Nowhere was this more apparent than at the event held for her at the Tiffany & Co Sydney store to celebrate her 30 years as a designer for the iconic company and her new Marrakesh inspired jewellery collection.
The Sydney Tiffany & Co store was at capacity level as valued customers, celebrities, friends and the media flocked to meet the designer daughter of legendary artist Pablo Picasso. Sydney’s current humid conditions are playing havoc with air conditioners all over town but as the temperature rose here and guests melted, Paloma graciously did the rounds stopping to chat to all who approached her.
Tiffanys glowed while the Billycart champagne flowed and gorgeous girls in towering heels modelled Paloma’s stunning collection.
In a sea of the often mediocre ‘celebrities’ of today it was an absolute pleasure to meet this gracious lady who, by the way, looks absolutely marvelous.
Paloma, along with her husband Dr Eric Thevenet, are on a lightening visit to Sydney but did take some time out at the weekend to compare contemporary art notes on a visit to the Tim Olsen Gallery.
