Parched March 2012 has a barking great schedule of events open to all (especially animal lovers!), where all proceeds go to the Animal Welfare League while spotlighting our favourite local bars around Sydney.
•Sunday ‘Pets in Pubs’ gatherings where you can visit Sydney’s best pet-friendly bars with your furry friends
•Merivale Xchange networking nights with hot bar topics including ‘The Bar Pick Up’ and ‘Dress Them Up, Strip Them Down’
• Battle of the Booze Great Debate- cocktails vs wine at TheLoft
•Puppy Love party at Cargo
•… and of course non-stop delicious drinks and food at over 50 of Sydney’s best bars, all doing signature Parched March cocktails

11 March: “A Cause for Paws”
Gazebo, Sunday 11th March from 12pm
Continuing its support of animals, Gazebo Wine Garden will be hosting a special event for its four-legged friends – A Cause for Paws. With prizes for best-dressed, a special performance by The Wonderdogs and an appearance by Dr. Katrina Warren, Gazebo promises to put on an unforgettable day – all we ask for is a gold coin donation for AWL.
13 March: Merivale Xchange ‘The Bar Pick Up’

Sam De Brito, columnist from Sydney Morning Herald, will be hosting the night and covering everything from techniques men use to pick up in bars to tips woman can use to steer clear of phoneys!
Tickets are $15 with all proceeds going to the AWL and include a complimentary cocktail and canapés on the night.

14 March: Cocktails v Wine – Battle of the Booze
Theloft, King Street Wharf, from 6pm
Do mixologists take themselves too seriously? Do sommeliers all talk wine wank?
Our expert teams headed by Keystone head bartender Jason Williams and Keystone head sommelier Sarah Limacher go head to head to find out, with Stu Gregor as MC.

15 March: Puppy Love Party
Cargo Lounge, from 7pm
This event calls for Sydney animal lovers to come together and help raise funds whilst enjoying a complimentary cocktails & canapés for only a gold coin donation on the door. Cargo’s resident DJs are backing the cause and offering their services of non-stop party tunes free of charge! Donated prizes will be raffled throughout the evening.

25 March: LL Sunday Yum Cha Session- BYO dog!
LL Wine & Dine, 11am – 4pm
Sunday Yum Cha Sessions with one special rule: BYO dog! Diners will enjoy modern yum cha to the live music stylings of the Myall High Club, while precious pooches will receive their own ‘doggy bag’ complete with fortune cookies. In it to win it? The best dressed pup on the day will win its owner dinner for two at LL Wine & Dine’s new sister restaurant, PaperPlanes in Bondi

Renowned mixologist Jason Crawley will be performing a live cocktail making demo and talking about everything from ordering to impress a bartender, healthy cocktails and how to tell your personality through the cocktail you order.
