Porsche Design Concept Store Launches in Australia, Ivy Penthouse

Finally ‘we’ can now all own the Porsche gear to go with the car
Porsche usually conjures thoughts of shiny metal cars nonchalantly driven by the rich and gorgeous elegantly attired in the finest leathers and sporting the trendiest of sun glasses. Up until now ‘we’ (I use the word loosely) could buy the cars but not the personal kit ‘we’ would need to pass muster.
To trumpet the launch of the first Porsche Design Concept store in Australia the gorgeous (MiSociety didn’t like to ask guests about the rich bit) gathered at the Ivy Penthouse amongst Porsche luggage, fine leather jackets to die for, pens, wallets and of course the must have ’sunnies’. Have to lament the Porsche ’sunnies’ could almost make Tony Abbott look cool at the beach (provided he’s got his pants on that is).
The Ivy Penthouse, as always, was a delight to be at but it did become the most crowded we had experienced it as it filled to capacity as additional guests, who were ’Porsched’ in from the Porsche Designs Concept store in 147 King Street Sydney, filed in.
From The Penthouse balcony we surveyed the launching of the Tighttigers pirate ship on the Ivy Pool below for their party which strangely then appeared to morph into yet another party where ‘whited’ party goers themed into every thing imaginable. ‘Tis Sydney in the silly season.
